Drumming brings valuable individuals together to become a part of something bigger than themselves. Tribal in many cultures, the drum circle lets everyone be equal, no significance is given to age, status, personality or image.
Sound is a powerful tool and can be used for celebration, healing, journeying and bonding purposes.
Ultimately it can be a feeling of freedom, of expression and of a deep inner connection to your personal life.
Many rhythms are based on the heart beat, and so it could be said,can beneficially affect your health and sense of wellbeing.
I know its a great stress reliever!!!!!
